I am very concerned about this. I believe the Repubs know he had a stroke and are trying to hid it from the public. his recent appearances and behavior seem to confirm it. We need to look into this. All politics aside, we do not need a person who has had a stroke as President
About two weeks ago, McCain as noticed to have a drooping left eyelid.
On videos, you can see it droop, and as the week went on, you could see it progress to where it would not blink in sync with his right eyelid. And we have seen and heard that McCain has problems responding to questions. Originally, I thought it was the standard Rovian, dodge, but now I am not so sure. It seems to me, upon reexamination, that he has some sort of cognitive problem, like his brain is not processing the information properly- a problem with short term memory.
Much was said about McCain's not looking at Obama during the debate. From my experience with a family member who had a stroke, this is one of the symptoms of a stroke- not looking at others becasue the brain cannot absorb visual information and think at the same time- the damaged brain cannot multi task any more and can't respond to visual cues.
Now on ABC this AM McCain has appeared with even more signs of a stroke:
His face is now drooping on the left side and he is lisping. he has lost control of his tongue and has partial facial paralysis. And it appears to be getting progressively worse.
Now add in the fact that McCain will not release his medical records and I come to the conclusion that he and the GOP campaign is hiding the fact that he had a stroke and he may have had one recently. This is of great concern to me. We do not need a person with a stroke as president and certainly not when Palin is #2. It is way too easy to claim a stroke victim as mentally incompetent, and take over their affairs (and presidency).
Time is way too short. We need to research this and determine if indeed McCain has had a stroke. IF he has, then he must step down as the GOP candidate.
